Adrianne and Barbara-

Thanks for your comments! My point with this series is to just simple appreciate some of the amazing people out there. As Moms, we are all too often "unsung heroes". I want people to know that the reflection they are creating through their tweets and blogs and whatever else they are doing through Social Media is noticed and appreciated!

Thanks so much for taking the time to comment!

Hi Tina,
I have to tell you, it takes someone pretty special to make such a sincere effort to introducing the world to your friday friends. Your piece on Amy, which I discovered from Amy's tweet and blog post, was so well done, thorough and sincere. I had a recent blog post on how personally, I felt that blogging is so important as social and historical documentation of an era. It's also creates an incredible sense of community. I am finding as I dig deeper into Twitter that micro-blogging has it's own community building power like a special ingredient for a perfect recipe. It's people like you and Amy and so many others that I've met in the short time that I've been blogging and Twittering, who realize that there are such positive, effective ways of using blogging, podcasting, micro-blogging and the like to spread some seriously good vibes and karma. I just want to applaud you on your Friday Friends series. You not only made Amy's day, but your generosity and positivity organically reflected your light right back on yourself.

Kudos to you!
From another over 40 new 'old' mom,
